Sharing my Images

Private use/accounts: I give permission to copy, post, and otherwise reproduce my images as long as credit is given to me. Everything is OK, if you put a link to my homepage or to one of my social media accounts next to the picture!
Commercial use: You should always ask for permission or a license! I will not accept any copyright issues!
Magazines/Editorials: The best way is to ask before you publish/print anything! But if you use images with my Logos AND credit me or my social media accounts with a clickable link it´s OK for me.

Without giving credit, you can run into problems with your account or website – I use automatic tools to find copys, check them for credits and let delete them if no credit is given! With any infringing commercial use I really can be very aggressive and mostly you get a “Cease & Desist” letter with a demand for damage (actual damage and/or statutory damage) – so you better don´t try…

Copyright, it´s so easy…

“Finding images on google” is not a permission to COPY them on your social media accounts. Google is just a search engine and NOT the owner of the image – so you can´t get rights from google for your copy.
Normally the photographer is the owner/copyright holder and you have to ask him if you can copy the image. Without this permission it´s simply not allowed to copy, republish, upload,…!

Difference between Share and Copy

E.g. on Facebook it´s easy to SHARE someones image. Sharing like this is always allowed with any further permission. It´s because you don´t COPY the image, you just add an additional link to the original image.
On Instagram it´s something completely different! You can´t SHARE images on instagram – you have to upload them on your account and so it´s a COPY of the image. Using photos from someone else without permission is normally not allowed. When recognized, the image can be delete through instagram and your account could be closed…

That´s fair

So I think it´s really fair, to give you the permission to copy all my images here for your private use and accounts. You just have to put a link next to the image to this homepage or my Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr,… Account.
E.g. on Instagram you can put my Instagram account @FineArtOfBondage in the description or you can tag me in the image – choose what you like, but do it 🙂

Magazines, Publishers,…

I have a lot of unpublished Images – if you want one or some of them, just get in contact with me. It´s possible to get images exclusive / publishing first for your magazin !
